Welcome to the Allegro family! We look forward to sharing our love of dance with you and your family.

This page is intended to provide some useful information to new students and their families. If you have additional questions, do not hesitate to contact us!

Studio Notes

The dance studio is a place where we all come to have fun but we also come to learn. Here are a few things to keep in mind when at the studio so you and your child(ren) will get the most out of your experience:

  • Arrive 5 minutes before class starts, this gives you time to get on your dance shoes, hang your bag and be ready to dance!
  • There are cubbies on the walls throughout the studio for dancers to store their bags, street shoes and coats in. We ask that you only wear dance shoes in our classrooms and the only thing you should have with you is a water bottle if desired.
  • Wondering how to dress for class? See our Dress Code for more info. We have a changing room for female dancers, we ask that male dancers use the restroom to change.
  • We keep the blinds to our classrooms closed during most classes. This is help students concentrate on what is happening IN the classroom as the activity in the hallways can be distracting. Once a month we have “Peek Week” and during this week we keep the blinds open so parents and guardians can observe their dancer. We will also welcome you to come in during the last 5 minutes of class during Peek Week so you can see what we have been working on.
  • 99% of the time we have staff in our office during business hours, stop by if you have questions or need help with something! We are here to help you feel at home and comfortable in our studio.
  • We have a vending machine, refrigerator and microwave available in the small room to the right of the office.

Local Dance Suppliers

We have a boutique in the studio with dance shoes, leotards, tights, and more.

We also recommend the following local boutiques! When you shop there tell them you are dancing at Allegro, they can help you find the shoes and tights that we prefer (and sometimes require for recital).

Inclement Weather & Make Up Policy

Morning classes will always be canceled if Nashua Public Schools are canceled OR delayed. Afternoon classes may still be held, however. Please check your email or our Facebook page if the weather looks questionable. 99% of the time, we make our decision about afternoon classes by 2pm.

The first time your classes are canceled due to weather, we recommend you come to another class in your level as a make-up. For example, if you are enrolled in 13+ Ballet and your class is canceled, you may attend any 13+ class (tap, jazz, hip-hop, etc.) within 30 days of the canceled class. If your class is canceled more than once because of weather, we will meet via zoom or find a time to offer a separate make-up class or we may even try to add time before or after your class for several weeks to make-up your class.

* Please note – when classes are canceled due to weather you are not required to make them up. Your dance team attendance requirement will not be affected. You are welcome to make-up the class because you paid for it.

Payment Policies

Monthly tuition is determined on a calendar month basis. Tuition rates are the same each month regardless of the number of weeks. We require a valid credit card be kept on file, but you can choose to pay via check or cash if you prefer. Tuition is due by the first of the month. You may sign up for auto-pay and your card will be charged the first of the month. If you are not on auto-pay, there is a 5-day grace period. If tuition isn’t received by the 5th, the credit card on file is charged.

See our complete Payment Policies for more detailed information.
