Our season is 10 months and the yearly tuition is split into 10 equal monthly payments. Tuition rates are the same each month regardless of the number of weeks. Most classes meet 35 times a year. You may choose to pay the entire 10-month tuition in advance, but please note that payments are non-refundable.
-
There are no refunds for missed classes once a tuition payment is received. Make-up classes are available and encouraged. You may schedule your makeup class on our website through your parent portal. You may also arrange your make-up class with the office. We ask that you make up the class within one month when possible.
-
If a student would like to drop out of any class, the parent/guardian must reach out in writing prior to the the first of the month before Allegro stops invoicing for payment. Monthly tuition and late charges apply if the studio does not receive the desire to drop in writing. Once we’ve been notified in writing, we will mail a refund check for any refunds due.
Dropping from a mini session will result in a pro-rated credit on your account to use for future sessions.

With regard to inclement weather, morning classes will always be canceled if Nashua Public Schools are canceled OR delayed. Afternoon classes may still be held, however. Please check your email or our Instagram if the weather looks questionable. 99% of the time, we make our decision about afternoon classes by 2pm. Saturday morning classes will be canceled by 8am.
To makeup the canceled class, we recommend you come to another class in your level as a make-up.

Allegro’s recital is full of professional lighting, costumes, and music. Students are asked to purchase a costume for each class.
A $50 NON-REFUNDABLE costume deposit (per class) is due November 15th. A second $25 deposit per class is due January 15. Final balances are due February 15th. Costumes cost an average of $100-$125. On rare occasions, a costume may cost upwards of $150, but we do our best for that not to happen often at all. Unfortunately, prices continue to rise due to many factors like shipping and fabric costs. If your child will require tights with their costume, we will provide these for you. If you would like a backup pair, additional tights are available for purchase in our boutique for $10/pair. You may also be required to purchase earrings or shoes.

At Allegro Dance Academy, the safety and well-being of our dancers are our top priorities. To ensure a secure and nurturing environment, we kindly ask all families to follow these guidelines:
Drop-Off: Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before your scheduled class time or the studio’s opening. Many of our dedicated staff members have commitments during the day and may not be on-site earlier. To ensure all dancers are supervised and safe, we ask that early drop-offs be avoided.
Pick-Up for Dancers Under 12: After class, dancers under the age of 12 will remain in the lobby until a parent or guardian comes upstairs to pick them up. This ensures they are safely transferred to your care.
Older Dancers (Ages 12 and Up): We encourage our older dancers to use the buddy system when leaving the studio. If waiting for a ride, please stay inside the building, either in the lobby or just inside the downstairs door. For safety reasons, we ask that dancers do not wait outside in the parking lot. If you ever feel uneasy or need assistance, our staff is more than happy to escort you to your vehicle. While we’ve been fortunate to have a safe environment, we believe in being proactive about safety.
Thank you for being a valued part of the Allegro family and for helping us maintain a safe and supportive environment for all our dancers.

The dance studio is a place where we all come to have fun but we also come to learn. Here are a few rules to keep in mind when at the studio so you and your children will get the most out of their experience:
Arrive on time. If you are more than 10-15 minutes late, your teacher may ask you to sit and watch class to prevent injury from missing the warm-up and to avoid interrupting to the rest of the class.
Be dressed appropriately for class.
Be quiet and respectful in all areas of the studio including the common areas.
No chewing gum.
Pick up after yourselves in dressing rooms, classrooms, hallways and the play area.
No gossiping or assumptions allowed – always speak to your child’s teacher or the director if you have a concern.

YES! Join us anytime! Recital Planning begins in August. Our staff begins working on the show’s theme, music, costumes, etc. We are more than happy to welcome students into the program throughout the fall and early winter. However, when students join after costumes have already been sized and ordered, this creates more work for everyone behind the scenes and increased shipping costs for individual costumes. Therefore, students that join classes after January 15th will be assessed a “Late Recital Fee” of $30. This is a one-time per student (not per class) fee that will be added upon enrollment.
