The Allegro Dance Company…

A pre-professional program for motivated dancers!

Becoming a member of our Dance Company is a serious commitment. It requires more time and financial commitment from these dancers and their families but we guarantee the extra time and energy will be worth it! We offer fundraising opportunities each month to help defray the extra costs. Last year, dancers raised over $12,000!

Recognizing that only a small percentage of dancers move on to successful professional dance careers – our program focuses on educating young people to strive for their personal best in anything they want to accomplish. We achieve our goals for the program by offering children and teens the opportunity to:

While every Allegro dancer gets to perform at our annual recital, Company dancers perform throughout the year at local events and also attend conventions and competitions as part of their dance education and community service. Throughout the years, we’ve performed at the FisherCats, Nashua Silver Knights, Make-A-Wish foundation benefit, Company Kick-off Show, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-day, local nursing homes, Pheasant Lane Mall, Cystic Fibrosis Walk, among many others! It’s awesome when we get to share our love, talent and passion to help others!

If you are not quite ready to commit to this level of training but want more performance opportunities, check out our Performance Teams which offer a great way for dancers to perform more often without the financial and time commitment of being on Company.

Below, please find their required classes including their company rehearsal times for our regular season. In order to maintain and further technique over the summer, our Dance Company is required to participate in a summer intensive and a summer session.
